Is hypnosis a form of “mind control”?
No.
Hypnosis is a state of relaxation that is similar to the state you feel when you are about to sleep. You are still cognisant to what is happening around you, but you are extremely relaxed. You are still in control and although receptive to suggestions, such as “lift your arms”, you cannot be coerced into robbing a bank!
In the hypnotic state, it is easy to bypass the conscious mind and give suggestions to your subconscious mind for long lasting results.
There are several types of hypnosis.
People are mostly familiar with stage hypnosis. This type of hypnosis is simply for entertainment and has no value but to amuse the spectator.
Suggestion hypnosis is when the subject is put under hypnosis and suggestions are made to his mind to help change a belief or a behaviour.
The type of hypnotherapy I practise is R.T.T. ® started by Marisa Peer is all about going to the root cause of the issue. When the client understands what drives the behaviour, permanent change is possible.
A session is around 90 to 120 minutes long and includes
A conversation where the client shares information about the issue that is causing a problem
A brief relaxation period where the client is brought to an hypnotic stage
An exploration of the root cause of the issue and a transformation of the beliefs
A powerful recording is made and the client listens to it daily (once or twice per day)
This type of hypnotherapy has an extremely high success rates for a variety of issues. Hypnotherapy can help with:
• confidence boosting
PTSD
Weight loss
Smoking cessation
Fears and phobia
Anxiety
And so much more!
Hypnotherapy is an amazing and easy way to get the life results you want. You do not have to use will power to get the desired outcomes since you change your inner programming. Why not give it a try?
